Conifer is a leading provider of security and hospitality staffing solutions, partnering with some of the UK's most prestigious hotels. We are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join the housekeeping team of a luxury 4-star hotel in the SE1 area.
The Role
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Management team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction are maintained throughout the hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the housekeeping team to ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet hotel standards
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure exceptional levels of cleanliness and presentation
- Allocate daily duties and monitor team performance
- Train, support, and motivate Room Attendants to achieve the highest standards
- Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure they are resolved promptly
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed
- Maintain stock levels of housekeeping supplies and amenities
- Work closely with other hotel departments to deliver an outstanding guest experience
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a 4-star or 5-star hotel
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Good spoken English
- Full flexibility to work day and evening shifts, including weekends
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy hotel environment
- Proof of right to work in the UK
