Conifer is looking for ambitious, dedicated and friendly security officers to join our growing security team on part time basis.

About the role:

· Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring the premises

· Providing a visible deterrent within the store against theft, anti-social behaviour, violence and criminal activity to create and support a safe shopping environment

· Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities

· Engage with police and other security personnel to improve service levels – this may include crime partnership meetings, shop watch schemes and police meetings

· Deal with confrontational situations in a calm, sensitive and professional manner

As a retail security officer, you will be working in a well-known retail store, providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike, as well as acting as a visual deterrent to help prevent/minimise stock loss. You will be providing a service to the highest standards in a fast paced, prestigious store. The position requires you to have a high level of self-presentation, customer service & communication skills are essential along with a positive/helpful attitude.

Essential Requirements:

• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
• Must hold a valid SIA licence
• Proof of Identity
• 5 years’ work and address history
• Flexibility in availability for work
• Confidence in dealing with the public
• Good verbal communication skills
• Excellent communication & customer service skills
• · Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail
• A full five-year checkable employment history
