About the Role: As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining safety and security for staff and customers in a prestigious, fast-paced retail environment. Your duties will include:

• Patrolling and monitoring the premises to ensure a safe environment for all.
• Acting as a visible deterrent against theft, anti-social behaviour, and criminal activity.
• Recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities in detailed reports.
• Collaborating with police and other security personnel to improve service standards (e.g., through crime partnership meetings, Shopwatch schemes, and police meetings).
• Managing confrontational situations calmly, sensitively, and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a high standard of security service within the retail store.
• Minimise stock loss and enhance the overall safety of the store.
• Maintain a professional appearance and exhibit excellent customer service and communication skills.

Essential Requirements:

• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
• A valid SIA licence
• Proof of identity

• Strong verbal communication skills
