Job Description: Hotel Duty Manager

Position: Hotel Duty Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Hotel Duty Manager with relevant experience in hotels or serviced apartments to join our team on a full-time basis.

Requirements:

• Location: Aldgate, East London
• Requirements :
• Knowledge of Opera PMS Systems
• Experience in a similar environment
• Ability to work 12 hours shift patterns on 4 days on/4 days off, day or night
• Skills:
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
• Eager to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritise guest experience and satisfaction in every aspect of your work, ensuring an outstanding experience by engaging with and recognising our guests.
• Assist guests professionally at all times.
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of checklists.
• Support all hotel operations, including other departments, when required.
• Manage and monitor the activities of the reception team, ensuring they adhere to the standards of excellence and follow company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all financial, privacy, data security, and health & safety procedures.
• As a Duty Manager, oversee hotel operations during the night/day, ensuring the security of the hotel and the safety of guests overnight.

Eligibility:

• Documented proof of eligibility to work in the UK, including a valid ID, proof of address, and National Insurance Number.
• References from previous hotel employment in the UK.
